喺2025年3月27日發表嘅《香港半年報告》中，政府再次強調對香港人嘅支持承諾，並明確表態會堅守BN(O)簽證政策，視其為與香港人建立聯繫、提供安全與自由生活機會嘅重要渠道。
📌 英國：會繼續守護BN(O)港人嘅權利
“This Government will continue to hold China to its legally binding obligations under the Joint Declaration and to call on them to apply the recommendations made in the 2022 UN Human Rights Council report.”
英國作為《中英聯合聲明》共同簽署國，會繼續要求中國履行其具有法律約束力嘅國際承諾，並呼籲落實2022年聯合國人權理事會報告中提出嘅建議，確保香港人基本人權受到保障。
✊ 政府：「我哋會一直與香港人站在一起！」
“And this Government will continue to stand with the people of Hong Kong, strengthening the thick web of connections between our societies and remaining steadfast in commitment to the BN(O) visa route.”
政府明確表示，將繼續與香港人同行，加強英港兩地緊密聯繫網絡，並堅定不移支持BN(O)簽證計劃，保障港人有機會喺自由開放嘅社會中生活。
🏠「Welcome Programme」助港人安居樂業
“Since 2021, the Government has provided a Welcome Programme to support BN(O)s as they integrate into their new communities in the UK.”
為協助BN(O)港人適應英國生活，政府自2021年起推出「Welcome Programme 歡迎計劃」。
“This support includes funding for English language and destitution support, a network of regional Welcome Hubs, support for Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations working with this community and a dedicated GOV.UK page available in English and Cantonese.”
計劃包括語言課程資助、生活困難支援、地區迎新中心、支援非牟利社區組織，仲有提供粵英雙語資訊嘅官方網站。
“Through the Welcome Programme, BN(O)s have accessed 17,061 English language courses and received over 283,000 instances of support through VCSE organisations.”
截至目前，超過17,061位BN(O)港人參加咗英語課程，透過社區機構收到超過283,000次支援。
🛂 BN(O)護照地位：中方不承認
“The Hong Kong SAR Government continued not to recognise the BN(O) passport as a valid travel document.”
報告指出，香港特區政府仍然唔承認BN(O)護照為有效旅行證件，但政府無因此動搖對BN(O)持有者嘅支援。
🤝 英港關係：不止簽證，更是長遠承諾
“The UK provides a welcoming home to Hong Kongers today and it will continue to do so for Hong Kongers tomorrow.”
政府重申，無論今日定將來，英國都會成為香港人嘅家園，並持續履行對BN(O)港人嘅歷史責任。
